Meet a group of entrepreneurial platform co-op founders presenting on enterprises that range in maturity, from emerging to well-established. They hail from as far as Turkey, Belgium, Finland, Spain, and Indonesia. The focus of the discussion is the governance of geographically dispersed independent contractors. Aggregating members and workers on a platform comes with unique opportunities for increasing participation and potentially also for distributed decision making.

Javier is considered to be one of the primary strategists and thought leaders in open and contributive business models, collaborative economy, citizen innovation and the networked society. Creator of the Pentagrowth methodology for business model design. He is one of the promoters of Saluscoop, a citizen data cooperative for health research. He has been a strategic planner, co-founder of the multidisciplinary space @Kubik, and marketing professor at ESADE. Co-author of the book We Are Not Ants. Advisor at Ouishare and Secretary of the Open Knowledge Foundation in Spain.
