Mwongela is a Kenyan journalist and researcher in ICTs, focusing on the growth of co-ops in Third World countries. He has six years of work experience at Kenya’s Co-operative University where he taught and served as the Head of Public Relations and Marketing. He is the Chief Public Relations Officer of the National Council for Population and Development in Kenya.
Mwongela is a Public Relations Professional offering comprehensive experience in Journalism and corporate communications. He has served as the editor of Kenya’s The Co-operator magazine and an editorial board member of Kenya’s Co-operative Magazine. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication; a Masters Degree in Communication Studies; and currently a Ph.D. candidate in Communication Studies at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega, Kenya. Mwongela has attended various national and international conferences.
