A collective approach is vital to ensure cooperative, community-focused, open-source platforms achieve economic stability and social peace. This concept is explored in a collection of articles from a June 2023 work residency in Lille, part of the PlateformCoop Hauts-de-France project. Contributors, including field experts and Bérengère Baillot of CoopCircuits, shared insights on various challenges, such as consolidating bike repair networks and advocacy strategies. This work, documented in the Imaginary Commons collection, is not an endpoint but a milestone in a longer journey. It aims to empower local platforms and their actors by alleviating extraneous burdens, fostering a unique yet unified approach within the broader Commons framework.
