Resumen

This article examines the challenges and opportunities of platform cooperatives in Argentina, exploring how they can be seen as a process of innovation to solve social problems. It delves into the possibilities of redefining and socio-technically adapting platform technology within self-managed, democratic projects. The article uses the implementation of CoopCycle in Argentina as a case study to assess whether local platform cooperatives can be considered an alternative to platform capitalism and part of a potential technological system aimed at inclusion. It relies on bibliographic material and secondary sources to analyze the impact and potential of platform cooperatives in addressing social inclusion through technology.
